I have typed, erased, retyped, erased several time here. I've decided not to share all of the ups and downs of Glenn's medical condition right now as it changes hourly and I am learning that each measurement of oxygen, temperature, blood pressure is actually irrelevant. He is still very much with us- and he makes me smile and he makes me laugh even as we navigate the most painful of decisions.
He will never be defined by cancer. It cannot take our final days and control them- though sometimes it sure does have the upper hand. We are forever grateful for the love you all have shown- Team Gleason is strong. And it is a testament to what love can do.

Thanks for the beautiful sunset, and for continuing to remind all of us to see the beauty in even the most difficult times. Continued love and prayers....Kristen
Amy and Glenn,
We wish you the time to share together now....I know it is a miracle you may be together at one anothers side to make one another laugh, even at the most trying times in ones life. No one can study for this or ever prepare for this, but from what I’ve experienced is that LIFE stands for Living, Identifying, Feeling and Empowering and this is the moment you both have now... We hold onto our wish to have you home, sharing time your family and friends. .... Carpe Dium Love Liz, Stefan, Sarah Alexandra and Baby-to-Be

Hi Glenn and Amy,
I am speechless, and shocked, and the return of the leukemia. I first met Glenn through Dewey Companies several years ago when we worked on the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He definitely left an impression with me, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him in the following years while I worked at Brendan Boroski Advertising. He always knows how to lift your spirit and make you laugh. Glenn - I can honestly say that you are one of my favorite people. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I cannot begin to put into words what I'm feeling for all of you. Prayers don't seem like enough, but I continue to burn up the prayer tower! Your strength, inspiration, honesty and devotion to one another through this journey has been amazing and you have personally changed how I look at life, what's really important, and how we need to embrace life to the fullest. I love you for that.
My thoughts continue to be with you and I'm blessed you've been a part of my life. Michele

Glenn,
You will never be defined by cancer. You will always be defined in my mind as a kind and caring brother-in-law and uncle and friend, among so many other wonderful things. You are the guy who made a big deal out of my first child when we came to Pittsburgh and you were worried about your own child. You are the guy who stopped to get me donuts before coming to hold my second child in the hospital on the day she was born. You are the guy who held that same child through the Malvern Halloween Parade and trick-or-treating for me when I was pregnant with the third child. Perhaps those are what people mean when they speak of everyday miracles -- the moments that define who we are, not some terrible disease we all want desperately to pray away.
I love you, Glenn.

You are both amazing. Jen K.

You are a living testimony of the peace that God gives. Your attitudes, your love for each other, your patience, your ability to have such a humbling effect on everyone that reads your posts; God is working through you. God bless you. You are all in my prayers.

You both take my breath away...God Bless you and keep you.
Every so often and for whatever reason some person makes a profound and lasting change in your life. Often times, these people are unaware of the influence they have had. I want you to know Glenn that you have instituted an undeniable change in my life for which I will be forever grateful. Your energy today is as powerful as it has ever been and continues to be felt by me and so many others that you and your family have touched. Stay strong my friend.

Amy and Glenn,
I've just learned the update on Glenn's condition...and my heart goes out to both of you and your family. I agree with so many other of your friends who have expressed how much you BOTH are an inspiration - to me and others I've told of your courageousness, incredible optimism and humor.
My thoughts are with you and sending good vibes from Center City.

Amy and Glenn and all your families-
Having been in the "in between" almost three years ago now, I pray daily for acceptance of God's Plan for you all and for us all. With great respect for previous comments, I have learned that I will never understand it and to keep trying wastes so much energy that can be beetter used for loving and not anger.
I am with you on your journey and love you all!

Dear Amy and Glenn,
Thank you for continuing to reach out to those of us who cannot be there with you. It is a gift too great to expect, yet treasured beyond my ability to express it. And thank you for being so full of love that there is enough for all to share. I pray every day that you both get home, soon.
Love, Lynne

I'll send plenty for both of you, Samanatha, Chase , grandma and anyone you choose to share them with. loving you and thinking of you...
Love you,
Dawn
Glenn, I have never met you, but I know what an amazing person you are by how wonderful your two little boys are (I don't know Samantha either!), and by the amazingly strong, unwavering, and genuine love between you that is so evident in Amy's posts. You have made such an impression on me- I am inspired by your whole family's strength and positive outlook on life. I feel like you have shown us all what true love is (not JUST the family love, but also the soul-mate true love so apparent between you and Amy), how to fight with all our might, how to soak in every moment. I don't think I have ever felt like I wanted to fix something so badly for someone I have never met before. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
