I was honored to attend the services today. You are definitely an amazing and extremely courageous family. From the moment that I met you and Mr. Gleason, I always knew that there was something very special about your family. Viewing the breathtaking photographs and slideshows, I can FEEL and see the LOVE that your family has for each other. In Samantha's letter, she states that she would like to be just like her father when she grows up - reliable, positive and amazing. Mr. Gleason would be happy to know that Samantha has already reached those goals. She is such a beautiful girl. You and Mr. Gleason couldn't have done a better job raising her. Please know that Peirce will always be a part of the Gleason family and my hand will always be extended to you!

read the complete blog today. my daughter had leukemia and passed 6 years ago 31 days post BM transplant. Dr. Luger was her doctor and rhodes 6 was our home. my wife was diagnosed with multiple mylenoma (blood born cancer, similiar to leukemia) 4 years ago and is 66 days post SCT, Dr. Vogl is our doctor and rhodes 3 is our home!!!! I so related to your every thought, feeling, emotion, fustration, etc!!!! Needless to say this has been deja vu dealing with mm, HUP, same hem/onc practice, after going through it 6 years ago with our beloved daughter. We remain hopeful, try to live in the day, and appreciate every minute we have together!!!! Your family is in our thoughts and prayers!!!! I am sure Glenn is smiling down on you all!!!
You have an extrememly unique way of capturing "life" on film and since you also are versed in writing, I pray you will use this gift to write a book some day. I literally felt your love, pain, joy, sorrow while reading your posts.
I have 3 children, older daughter, 2 younger sons, as you and can't imagine living without thier father. My prayer today is for your strength and endurance as you run the race of life until you all are together again.
